Higher education institutes in the North are not quite biting the accreditation bullet as compared to those in the South. Is it out of a fear of a low grade, lack of insistence by the regulatory bodies, or an otherwise, couldn’t-careless attitude, preferring an expediency course of short-term benefits, somehow securing admissions by whatever means? No wonder, people from the South are far ahead in occupying global leadership positions in various scientific and technology fields, as compared to those from the North.
